Senior Night: Gymnastics Meet

Tons of fans filled the Gold Dome to support the Centenary Gymnastics Team. This was the last meet at home for the gymnastics team and the last time the senior will compete in the Gold Dome. This was a very emaotional time for some of the girls on the team, but with it being a Mock Meet (just a meet fot fun, without another team to compete against) everyone seemed to have a great time. There was a great amount of judges from Dr. Henderson to President Rowe. In between each event the Ladies would either have a cheer planned for the crowd or have a contest on who had the best cartwheel or handstand. This was a wonderful family event. Lastly, at the end of the meet they called every senior to the middle of the floor and read a little bio about them, well their coach hugged them and gave then a great senior gift. Slowly, fans started leaving the Gold Dome, well the Ladies finished up the last of the cleaning. Just wanted to say Thanks to all the fans for coming, and to the Seniors Good Luck with your future we will miss you very much!!

Country Strong

This drama filled film was one of the best movies I have seen in awhile. The wondering and waiting for an outcome I would have never expected. Gwyneth Paltrow plays an outstanding role of  a celebrity that was just tired of being in the spotlight and wanted to live a life like everyone else, but was pushed to far by her husband (Tim McGraw) and her fans. This is a learning movie. It shows how we think about the spotlight to much, and somehow forget that these celebrities are people too. They need their own time just like we do. Sadly, this movie ends with the tradgey death of Kelly Canter (Gwyneth).
